This is the second piece in my "Lords of.." series. Each piece is about a single character who is mythic/fanstasy inspired. The design for this character (Neo Madonna) had been lying around a long time but I never did anything with it until I started this series and the two ideas came together nicely. I wanted to blend some of the elements of the classic Madonna paintings into the piece by keeping it realistic and symmetrical (among others). I painted it in Photoshop off and on over the past couple of weeks.
