Personal piece created in PS. Having always loved many of the classical paintings of romanticized mythology scenes I wanted to create one reminiscent of that but also slightly updated with the digital medium. My scene is of naiads, the freshwater sisters to nymphs. Unlike nymphs who were largely altruistic, naiads were just as likely to help you as drown you so I sought to make them beautiful and inviting but also have a dark undertone.
